Since 1973, Nu Con Corporation specializes in 5-axis machining
of integrally bladed components.

We have machined over 2,000 different configurations from.200 inch (5 mm) diameter
to 73 in (178 mm) diameter, utilizing our proprietary I.M.S. (Impeller Machining System)
and our "5-Axis"  computer controlled Sundstrand Machining Centers.

We are experts in the manufacturing of: Radial & Axial Compressors,
Pumps & Turbines, Shrouded Impellers, Expanders, Diffusers, Jet Engine Cases
in a variety of materials including aluminum, stainless steel,
titanium, exotics and plastics.

Our customers include most manufacturers in the aircraft, aerospace
and turbo machinery industry, both domestic and international.

Excellence

Custom Manufacturing System
Our programming engineers build the data base and inspection plans from your prints,
disc or via modem for in-process manufacturing control.  The "5-Axis" machining
control data is downloaded via our D.N.C. link to the specified machine (with NuCon's
own "5-Axis" executive resident in the machine tool computer) and the manufacturing
process is initiated.
 

Engineering CAD/CAM
Our state-of-the-art computers, with custom impeller machining Software gives us the
extensive ability to provide rapid turn-around and outstanding service.

PC Based Machine Controls
Unique software specifically developed for the 5-axis production and inspection of
impellers and high tolerance parts.
     Automatic Tool Gauging.
